My husband bought a Christmas gift of 3 massages from Dr. Vandine's office for me on December 24, 2008. On January 6, 2009, I suffered a C-6-7 disk herniation and am under the care of a neurosurgeon. I cannot lie on less than 4 pillows at night and massage would be dangerous and harmful to me at this point. My husband tried to get a refund from Dr. Vandine, but he refuses to do so. We still have the receipt and there is NOTHING on the receipt that my husband signed that says "no refunds, no returns, etc"...We are disgusted and upset and Dr. Vandine went as far as to say he would "call the police" when I calmly asked for a refund. I find this so depressing, I had such a great chiropractor in Chapel Hill, NC (where we just moved from...) I also was told by one of his family members tonight that Dr. Vandine was arrested for insurance fraud in the past. I find all of this very upsetting and I need some help on finding out how to get our money back and how to find a reputable chiropractor for the future. (His rating with the BBB is an "F", I just checked...)
